Do you like to swear?

A man is driving his five year old to a friend’s house when another car races in front and cuts them off, nearly causing an accident. "Fucking douchebag!" the father yells. A moment later he realizes the indiscretion, pulls over, and turns to face his son. "Your father just said a bad word," he says. "I was angry at that driver, but that was no excuse for what I said. It was wrong. But just because I said it, it doesn’t make it right, and I don’t ever want to hear you saying it. Is that clear?" His son looks at him and says: "Too late, douchebag."

I thought this was quite a funny piece. I don't usually encourage cursing and swearing. I SELDOM use the F*** word. Most of the time, "shit!" and "crap" and "what the hell!" comes out, but "F***!" seldom comes out, it stays in my mind as a mental curse at the person.

But yes, i do believe there is a way to swear well. Not just rambling curses spilling outta one's mouth (like an angry ah beng), but rather a certain poetry in being able to swear properly.
I figure that just anyone can curse, but it takes takes a true artisan to swear properly. Don't y'all agree?

"The difference between cursing and swearing as an art form is like the difference between Yoda and Yeats. "

This is a quote to live by. Evrytime you think of swearing at someone, remember, don't go "f***! You A**H***!" Makes one seem like an uneducated sailor. So, it's either you learn the art of swering well, OR, don't curse at all. It just doesn't ring right to the ears.
